Why can I no longer see my participants' Open School course scores in my reports
In our new education platform, Open School course reports do not include scores based on the post-lesson assessments.
It’s important to note that learners must achieve an 80% or higher (4 of 5 questions correct for a score of 20/25) on each post-lesson assessment in an Open School course in order to complete the course. In a sense, the Open School courses are pass/fail, because they cannot be completed without learners achieving a passing score of at least 80%.
We encourage learners to retake the assessments multiple times to absorb the answers and understand the concepts more deeply. We think of these as “open-book” quizzes, as learners can retake the assessments as many times as they like until they are satisfied with their score.
If you need to view post-assessment scores, we suggest that you ask participants to send you a screenshot of their assessment scores and email it to you.
Participants can find their screenshots by following the steps below.
- Go to education.ihi.org
- Navigate to your Learning Center
- All post-lesson assessment scores will be underneath the submissions tab
- Search or scroll to the Post-Lesson assessment you need to record
- Take a screenshot
Post-lesson assessments are graded out of 25. A 20/25 would be an 80% passing score. A 25/25 would be 100%.
