Health and Wellness at the IHI Patient Safety Congress

All attendees, vendors, and speakers participating in the IHI Congress in Dallas, TX, USA are required to provide proof of vaccination. Full COVID-19 vaccination is defined as 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or 14 days after the first dose of a single-dose vaccine.

PCR negative tests will not be accepted in lieu of vaccination. Approved vaccinations include those recognized by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

All in-person attendees should have received an email from SafeAccess with information on how to submit vaccine information. For questions or assistance submitting vaccine information, please email [email protected]

What if I am not vaccinated or cannot be vaccinated?
Unfortunately, if you cannot comply with IHI’s vaccine policy, you will not be able to attend the in-person, live IHI Congress. However, this will not preclude you from registering for the virtual  experience.

Masks
Masking is recommended for all in-person participants. IHI will provide N95 or KN95 masks onsite for participants. If you feel the need to continue to wear a mask for your own protection, or to protect someone close to you, you should do so. The decision to wear a mask in settings where it is not required is a personal one, and it should be informed by the prevalence of cases in the community, your vaccination status, and your age/medical history. We strongly encourage indoor masking for persons with greater health risks or concerns. Masks continue to be highly effective in reducing risk of transmission regardless of vaccination status.

Local COVID-19 Level
IHI recommends all participants monitor the Dallas County COVID-19 community level on the CDC website.
