Q. How do I pay for recertification?

Q. How to I submit my materials for recertification?  
A. Once you complete the 45 Continuing Education (CE) hours needed for recertification, please scan and submit your completed handbook application, CE documents, and payment confirmation via email to [email protected]. Please note that digital submission of CE documents and payment will result in faster processing; however, documents and payment can also be mailed to: Institute for Healthcare Improvement (Attn: CPPS Recertification) 53 State Street, 18th Floor, Boston, MA 02109.

Q. What is acceptable for CE’s for recertification?
A. All continuing professional education that follows the CPPS Content Outline  is accepted. It is not a requirement to have the hours approved as CPPS hours. Continuing professional education for CPPS recertification may include, but is not limited to, such activities as Educational Programs, Professional Speaking/Teaching, Formal Publication of Articles or Books, etc. For more information on accepted CEs and the CPPS Content Outline, refer to the detailed tables provided within the CPPS Recertification Handbook.
